Exclusive Offer

Valid from 4th of January 2023 - 17th February 2023.

The Cyber Essentials Pre-Assessment Project is a government fully funded grant, a unique opportunity to evaluate your current cyber security and get you prepared for whatever the next step on your cyber security journey is, and most importantly, available to you for FREE. The grant has been awarded to Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC) and will be delivered through its Trusted Partners.

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) advise that the most common internet borne threats are not targeted, but opportunistic in nature and can be prevented by implementing basic, cost-effective cyber security measures. They recommend the adoption, as a minimum, of 5 critical network controls and the Cyber Essentials certification scheme, endorsed by the NCSC, offers you an independent examination of these 5 controls by qualified assessors, also known as IASME Certification Bodies / SBRC Trusted Partners.

The SBRC CEP-A is aligned to the (NCSC) national standards and will consist of a Cyber Essentials Pre-Assessment and the provision of a GAP Analysis Report detailing the strengths and weaknesses of your current cyber security systems, and areas you will need to put more work into to get ready if you are going to pursue the Cyber Essentials accreditation.

Shonsys Limited is one of the selected Certifying Bodies who will be able to help you understand the basic cyber assessment questions, how they relate to your company and what steps you need to take in order to protect your organisation. This will be a simple and free four step process as outlined in the next column section of this page.
